I HEREBY CALL FOR A REFERENDUM ON THE CARBON TAX, REINTRODUCTION OF THE DEATH PENALTY AND DAYLIGHT SAVING

Several issues have been brought to my attention of late. People have been really unhappy with the current elected politicians who continue to over ride the wishes of the people.

The issues of concern are the carbon tax, reintroduction of the death penalty and voluntary euthanasia. I hereby support Pauline Hanson, the former One Nation Leader's call to hold a referendum on the issues of concern, stating that the people should be given the chance to have a chance to have a say on those issues that they feel strongly about.

I am not convinced that the carbon tax is the way to combat climate change adding that climate change is a natural procsss. I just see the tax as a massive cash grab that will hurt families for generations to come.

I am non commital on the other two saying it is not for me to say whether i support it or not. However I feel that the people should be given a chance to have a say on those matters.

I am also calling for a referendum on 30 minute daylight saving time all year around national wide first mooted by Jeff Kennett, former Liberal Victorian Priemer adding why should we have to witness time change each summer? The NT should always be 30 minutes behind all of the eastern states, and that is why I am calling for a permanent change to daylight saving national wide. That means if it goes ahead the times will be 30 minutes forward in winter and summer in some states where there is currently no daylight saving but 30 minutes behind in states that do observe daylight saving time.

On crime, there is still the question on whether the death penalty should be brought back. Again I am non commital on this but I believe that people should be given the chance to have a say on whether the death penalty should be brought back.

All three of those issues are too important for pollies to override the wishes of the people and those three issues should be left to the people to decide. If the people could vote on Statehood, daylight saving and republic, surely they should be allowed to vote on the three issues I have just mentioned.
